CAA Seminar (04.11/2019) The theory of polarized radiation of relativistic electrons in magnetic field motion and the application of high energy astrophysics
Polarization is a common radiation process in astrophysics research. We will discuss two physical mechanisms of relativistic electrons' polarization radiation generated by small-scale disordered magnetic fields and large-scale ordered magnetic field motions, and further theoretical calculations of polarization radiation transfer. We use theoretical results to explain or predict high-energy astrophysics multi-band polarization observations. In addition, the optical depolarization statistical study of the lasing variants demonstrated that the magnetic fluid turbulence has an important influence on the depolarization of the blazars.
